Not comfortable

I have some crew socks from Unsimply Stitched which I love, and I wanted something of the same quality which I could wear in the summer. Since they only have crew socks and these no-show socks, I gave these a try. I've never had no-show socks before so I have nothing to compare to. These are the same nice fabric which feels good on my feet, but the elastic gouges the top of my foot which gets really painful over the day. The quality of the elastic top is not so good either, so there's a little "tail" of elastic on most of the socks which usually gets folded over and puts pressure against my ankle, which will rub painfully while walking. I'm keeping these socks because I still need summer socks and I don't know of a better option but I really wish these were ankle-length instead.
